Motif Residence is being developed in Istanbul as a comprehensive urban renewal project comprising 120 living units. Designed by modern living standards, the project includes social amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness centre, indoor wet areas, covered parking, and extensive landscaped gardens. With quality and comfort as priorities, the project aims to provide residents with functional living spaces that ensure a peaceful and secure environment. Currently in the finishing phase, the project is largely completed and is approaching its delivery date. Serving as the Site Supervisor on this project has been a valuable experience, involving the coordination, supervision, and scheduling of team members such as electricians, plumbers, insulation specialists, welders, and screeders. The variety of on-site problem-solving opportunities has demonstrated that the project extends beyond paper plans, offering firsthand insight into the challenges and details encountered during its three-dimensional realisation. Therefore, it is essential for all my architect-engineer colleagues, as well as candidates, to gain practical field experience. Site supervision refers to the role responsible for the technical and administrative management of a construction project on-site. The person in this position ensures that the project progresses in accordance with architectural, structural, mechanical, landscaping, and other plans, while overseeing daily operations. They are responsible for enforcing occupational health and safety regulations. They coordinate material procurement, team management, and inspections. Additionally, they handle official paperwork and maintain communication with relevant authorities.
Motif Residence, 120 daireden oluşan kapsamlı bir kentsel dönüşüm projesi olarak İstanbul’da hayata geçirilmektedir. Proje, 1+1, 2+1 ve 3+1 daire tiplerinin yanı sıra, zengin dubleks seçenekleriyle birlikte hakim deniz manzarası sunmaktadır. Modern yaşam standartlarına uygun olarak tasarlanan projede; yüzme havuzu, fitness merkezi, kapalı ıslak alanlar, kapalı otopark ve geniş peyzajlı bahçeler gibi sosyal donatılar yer almaktadır. Projede Şantiye Şefi olarak görev almak; duvarcı, elektrikçi, tesisatçı, yalıtımcı, kaynakçı, şapçı gibi ekip üyelerini koordine etmek, denetlemek ve programlamasını sağlamak benim için değerli bir deneyim olmaktadır. Şantiyede karşılaşılan çeşitli detay çözümleri, projenin sadece kağıt üzerinde kalmadığını, üç boyutlu hayata geçirilirken yaşanan zorlukları ve ayrıntıları gözlemleme fırsatı sunmuştur. Bu nedenle, tüm mimar-mühendis meslektaşlarımın veya adaylarının saha deneyimi edinmelerinin büyük önem taşıdığına inanıyorum. Şantiye şefliği, bir inşaat projesinin sahadaki teknik ve idari sorumluluğunu üstlenen görevin tanımıdır. Bu pozisyona sahip kimse, projenin mimari, statik, tesisat, peyzaj vb. planlara uygun şekilde ilerlemesini sağlar ve günlük işleyişi denetler. İş sağlığı ve güvenliği kurallarının uygulanmasından sorumludur. Malzeme temini, ekip yönetimi ve denetimlerle koordineli çalışır. Aynı zamanda resmi evrakları takip ederek ilgili kurumlarla iletişimi sürdürür.
